Rupert Neve Designs Shelford 5052 and 551 Win Big at the NAMM TEC Awards

At the 30th Annual NAMM Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards, Rupert Neve Designs came home with two TEC Awards for the Shelford 5052: Mic Pre / Inductor EQ and the 551: 500 Series Inductor EQ. The Shelford 5052 won for Outstanding Microphone Preamplifier Technology, & the 551 won for Outstanding Signal Processing Hardware (500 Series), a new category for this year's awards.

The 5052 and 551 were selected for the award by a panel of pro audio and music industry professionals who carefully review each nominated product. RND’s Engineering Manager Dennis Alichwer and Brand Manager Chris Dauray received the awards for Rupert Neve Design before an audience of their peers. Also honored during the evening’s events were guitar legend Slash, who received the prestigious Les Paul Award, and NAMM TEC Hall of Fame inductees Nathan East and Ed Cherney.
