During the 2014 SXSW conference in Austin, TX, Rupert Neve Designs equipment was in use all over town; from the SXSW gear expo at the convention center, to the Daytrotter recording sessions at Good Danny’s Studio, down to Blue Rock Studios in Wimberley for live broadcasts and an all-day showcase.

Jan 20— RND Announces 551: 500 Series Inductor EQ

At the 2014 NAMM show, Rupert Neve Designs is launching the 551 Inductor EQ: the first and only equalizer for the 500-Series actually designed by Rupert Neve. Featuring 3 bands of EQ inspired by Mr. Neve’s most prized vintage designs, along with custom-wound inductors, transformers and class-A gain blocks, the 551 brings the thick, powerful lows and sweet highs of Rupert’s classics to the 500-Series format.

Nov 19— Roulette Gives New Music a Voice Through the 5088

Founded in 1978 in Manhattan, but now based out of the YWCA Memorial Hall in downtown Brooklyn, Roulette provides a home for artists to perform new works that push the boundaries of modern classical, jazz, and experimental music. Since the spring of 2012, Roulette has been using the Rupert Neve Designs 5088 to mix recordings of over 200 live performances a year, which are archived online at www.roulette.org and incorporated into the Roulette TV programs.
